Trump highlights US “virtually unlimited” weapons as Israel-Iran tensions rise

US President Donald Trump has emphasized that the United States possesses a “virtually unlimited supply” of medium- and upper-medium grade weapons, as the Israel-Iran conflict intensifies with Washington’s backing. His comments follow the killing of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.

In a post on Truth Social, Trump said that US munitions stockpiles at key levels have “never been higher or better,” noting that wars could be fought “forever” using existing supplies. While acknowledging that high-end weapon reserves are “not where we want to be,” he highlighted that additional advanced weaponry is stored in allied countries.

Trump also criticized former President Joe Biden, alleging that substantial quantities of top-tier arms had been sent to Ukraine without adequate replenishment. He said he rebuilt the US military during his first term and stated the country is now “stocked, and ready to WIN, BIG.”

Let's have a closer look at America's military power:

US global military ranking

The United States is ranked 2nd out of 145 countries in the annual Global Firepower (GFP) review, with a Power Index score of 0.0741, where 0.0000 represents exceptional power.

The US has consistently held a top GFP ranking for at least 10 consecutive years, is a Top 5 world power, and ranks among the Top 10 nations by population and financial influence. The country is also a founding and active member of NATO and a recognized nuclear power, with significant global energy production capabilities, including crude oil and natural gas.
