Elon Musk's X down, tens of thousands of users face issues globally

Several users said that basic functions such as logging in, accessing the app, and loading the website had become difficult during the outage.

X is facing global outage.

Elon Musk's X was down for tens of thousands of users on Saturday, according to outage tracking website Downdetector.com.

There were more than 25,000 incidents of people reporting issues with the social media platform in the United States, according to Downdetector, which tracks outages by collating status reports from a number of sources, Reuters reported.

In India as well, users faced problems accessing core features of the platform. The ‘For You’, ‘Following’ and ‘Notifications’ panels were not loading, and refreshing the feed failed to update timelines.

Several users also said that basic functions such as logging in, accessing the app, and loading the website had become difficult during the outage.

Earlier on May 22 as well, X experienced a significant outage where users faces issue in accessing the site.
