Starting December 18, 2024, the Jammu and Kashmir Cable Car Corporation (JKCCC) is introducing a revamped Online Tatkal Ticket Facility to enhance your Gulmarg Gondola experience. Whether you're booking last minute or in advance, this upgraded system makes securing your spot for the famous ride above the stunning landscapes of Gulmarg easier than ever.
The new online ticketing system will be available on the official JKCCC website, www.jammukashmircablecar.com. Bookings will open daily at 5:00 PM for the following day, with tickets issued at Tatkal charges, allowing efficient management of the high demand for the Gondola ride.
To ensure a smooth entry, tourists will need to present a valid ID at the main gate, which must match the details on their ticket. For international visitors, travel agencies are required to send the details of their clients—including full names and passport numbers—at least two days in advance. These details should be emailed to cablecar@rediffmail.com, along with a covering letter from the agency.
