Backed by a Rs 130 crore investment from the Tourism Corporation of Gujarat Limited (TCGL), Shivrajpur Beach has been upgraded with world-class, eco-friendly infrastructure that will be showcased at the Vibrant Gujarat Regional Conference (VGRC) in Rajkot from January 10–12, 2026.

Recognised by the Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE), the prestigious Blue Flag certification acknowledges Shivrajpur Beach’s exceptional standards in environmental management, safety, cleanliness, and amenities. This recognition firmly positions Gujarat as a rising global coastal tourism destination.

The achievement aligns with the ‘Dekho Apna Desh’ vision, enabling Indian travellers to experience international-standard beach tourism without leaving the country. Located in Devbhumi Dwarka along Gujarat’s 2,340 km coastline, the beach is known for its pristine waters, serene ambience, and enhanced visitor safety.
