Gehlot and Pilot have been engaged in a power tussle since the Congress formed government in the state in 2018.
The chief minister's office has also released Gehlot's programme confirming his visit to Delhi, where he will also lay foundation stone of the Rajasthan House.
News Highlights: “I am excited to welcome Linda Yaccarino as the new CEO of Twitter! Linda will focus primarily on business operations, while I focus on product design and new technology. Looking forward to working with Linda to transform this platform into X, the everything app,” he wrote.
Last month, the Tonk MLA and former deputy of Gehlot held a day-long fast, targeting his own party's government in Rajasthan for "inaction" in alleged cases of corruption when the BJP ran the state.
Anand Mahindra started the day with a photograph of children at a school as his staple Monday Motivation.
Kamal Nath along with Congress general secretary in-charge organisation K C Venugopal met Pilot on Thursday to discuss his side of arguments and the former Rajasthan deputy CM conveyed to them that his fast was only directed at action against corruption and was not "anti-party" at all, sources said.
There was speculation that he might meet the party's AICC in-charge of Rajasthan Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa and other senior leaders, but sources close to Pilot said no meetings were fixed.
Despite a warning issued to him by the Congress, Pilot, a former deputy chief minister of Rajasthan, began his daylong fast at the Shaheed Smarak here on Tuesday, demanding action in cases of alleged corruption related to the previous BJP government in the state led by Vasundhara Raje.
All India Congress Committee (AICC) in-charge of state Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa said it was "not appropriate" for Pilot to hold a press conference in this manner and that he should have raised the issue with him first.
"No action was taken (by the Gehlot government) on corruption by the previous Vasundhara Raje government. While in opposition, we had promised that an inquiry would be conducted," Pilot said.
Pilot, who has been locked in a power tussle with Gehlot for long, had recently said the return of Congress to power was due to the struggle of the party leaders and workers from 2013 to 2018, when he was the PCC chief.
The march will give access to people to put forward their grievances and ministers will get rid of their health issues such as diabetics and cholesterol, Rahul said.
"The statement of the central government has come five days after the incident. It says the same things that have come in the media. The central government should discuss this issue by taking the opposition into confidence," Sachin Pilot told reporters here.
Supporters of the two leaders are competing in Hadoti to highlight their dominance, which is visible from the hoardings in the region. This has also led to blame games between leaders of the two factions.
Speaking to reporters in Indore during the Bharat Jodo Yatra, Congress' communications head Jairam Ramesh also said, if needed, the party will not shy away from taking 'tough decisions' to strengthen the organisation in the desert state and also look for a compromise.
Pilot hit back at Gehlot to say it is unbecoming of his stature to use the kind of language to attack him and make completely "false and baseless" allegations.
The remarks have further widened the fissures in the Congress party in Rajasthan, where Assembly polls are slated next year. The Bharat Jodo Yatra, led by Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, is also set to enter the desert state.
"The double-engine government of the BJP will derail soon. Its first engine will seize to function in Himachal Pradesh on November 12 and the second engine in 2024," he told reporters at a press conference in Shimla.
Sachin Pilot's meeting with Gandhi comes days after an open rebellion by Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot's loyalists over a possible leadership change in the state.
Gehlot and Pilot had already clashed over who would be chief minister soon after the Congress won the state election in 2018.
