Vivo has started teasing the launch of its upcoming smartphone, the Vivo V50e, in India. The device will be the successor to the Vivo V40e and will come with several upgrades, including a quad-curved OLED display, dual 50MP cameras, and an IP69 rating for durability.
Vivo V50e launch: All that we knowVivo V50e is expected to be available in two color options—Sapphire Blue and Pearl White. The Sapphire Blue variant features an iridescent finish inspired by blue mother-of-pearl, while the Pearl White version has a liquid shimmer effect. The phone is expected to be 7.3mm thick and feature a 6.77-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of 4500 nits. The display will have a 41° quad-curve design.
The smartphone is said to come with a 50MP front camera with eye autofocus and a 50MP Sony IMX882 primary rear sensor, accompanied by an ultrawide camera. It will also support 4K video recording on both the front and rear cameras. Additionally, the device will include a wedding portrait studio mode, a feature introduced with the Vivo V50.
Vivo has also integrated AI-powered features such as AI transcript assist, live call translation, and circle to search.
The Vivo V50e will have IP68 and IP69 ratings, making it resistant to dust and water. It will support underwater photography and feature diamond shield glass display protection with SGS five-star drop resistance certification.
The phone is expected to retain the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset from the Vivo V40e. It will come with 8GB of RAM and an additional 8GB of virtual RAM. The device is expected to pack a 5,600mAh battery with support for 90W fast charging.
The Vivo V50e will be available for purchase on Amazon.in, Vivo’s official online store, and offline retail stores after its launch in India.
