Vivo seems ready to kick off 2026 in India with new hardware in hand. The company is all set to launch two new smartphones in the country, likely the Vivo X300 FE and Vivo X200T. The buzz started building on the last day of 2025 when two new Vivo devices received approval from the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS). The listings didn’t reveal specs, but for anyone who tracks tech launches in India, BIS approval is basically the government’s way of saying, “launch incoming.”

As per Gizmochina, the approved phones carry model numbers Vivo V237 and V2561, and were also spotted on another certification platform called the SIG database. Over there, the same phones were listed with the rumoured names Vivo X300 FE and Vivo X200T. While Vivo hasn’t officially confirmed the marketing names yet, the pattern looks familiar. Many phone brands launch devices in India that are reworked or renamed versions of models already selling in China, and Vivo seems to be following the same route again.

Interestingly, BIS also cleared a bunch of other Vivo phones around the same time. The Vivo V70 (V2538), Vivo V70 Elite (V2548), Vivo T5x (V2545), and Vivo Y51 (V2544) all received approvals too. None of them came with specifications attached, which is disappointing for people who want details instantly. But it does show that Vivo has a lot planned for the Indian smartphone calendar this year.

Now let’s talk about the two phones everyone is actually waiting for.

The Vivo X300 FE is expected to be a renamed version of the Vivo S50 Pro Mini, which launched in China in December 2025. The “Mini” tag isn’t a gimmick here. The phone is genuinely compact, built around a 6.31-inch OLED screen that supports 120Hz refresh rate and 1.5K resolution. For a phone that’s small in size, it aims to go big on performance. It is rumoured to run on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chip, which is expected to deliver top-tier speed for everyday tasks, heavy apps, and long hours of use.

The camera setup is also expected to be strong. The front camera could be 50MP, while the back carries a triple camera unit, including a 50MP main sensor, 8MP ultrawide, and 50MP 3x zoom periscope lens. Vivo is also packing a 6,500mAh battery, which is large considering the phone’s size, and supports 90W wired charging and 40W wireless charging. In simpler terms, the phone is expected to charge fast and last long.

Then comes the Vivo X200T, which is said to be a renamed version of the Vivo X200s, a phone that launched in China back in April 2025. This one also features a 6.31-inch OLED 120Hz, 1.5K screen, keeping it in the compact phone category too. Instead of Snapdragon, this phone is rumoured to run on MediaTek’s Dimensity 9400+ chip, another high-speed processor aimed at smooth multitasking.

The X200T may come with a 6,200mAh battery, again supporting 90W wired and 40W wireless charging. The camera system here is rumoured to be all 50MP across the board — 50MP front, 50MP main, 50MP ultrawide, and 50MP 3x zoom periscope. Vivo is clearly betting on cameras being the talking point for this model.

Now for the question most Indian buyers ask first: price. The X300 FE is expected to cost around Rs 60,000, while the X200T could land around Rs 55,000. Reports also suggest that the X200T might be an online-only device, likely launching by the end of this month. The X300 FE, however, may arrive a little later.

Of course, nothing is official until Vivo says it is. But certifications, rumours, and spec leaks all point in one direction — Vivo is getting ready for a double phone launch in India. More details will surely show up soon, but for now, at least we know the stage is set, and the phones are coming.
