Vivo introduced the standard Vivo X300 and the Vivo X300 Pro models last year in China and other countries, including India, and recent reports suggest that the Chinese smartphone maker could launch an Ultra model as an addition to its flagship lineup. However, a new leak suggests that the Vivo X300 series will now also include a previously unreported model called the Vivo X300 Max, meaning the X300 series could eventually include four models. The launch timeline of these flagship models has also been revealed.
Vivo X300 Max tipped to launch alongside X300 Ultra
In a post on Weibo, the Chinese microblogging platform, tipster Digital Chat Station has mentioned that Vivo will launch the X300 Ultra and X300 Max after the Chinese Spring Festival, which ends on March 3. These rumoured Vivo X300 series smartphones, with model numbers V2547A and V2547DA, respectively, have also cleared network access certifications.
Further, the company might unveil a Vivo X300 Ultra model with BeiDou satellite connectivity, which has the V2548A model number. The tipster also adds that all three of these smartphones will support the N79 frequency band, similar to the upcoming Oppo Find X9s Pro and Oppo Find X9 Ultra, which are also expected to be released in a similar timeline.
Previously, the same tipster had stated that the Vivo X300 Max will have a 6.78-inch OLED 1.5K flat display with thin bezels and an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor. Like other X300 smartphones, the phone will likely use a circular rear camera module housing a 200MP main camera, an ultra-wide lens, and a mid-tier periscope telephoto camera. The X300 Max is likely to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset and could pack a 7,000mAh battery.
