Vivo is all set to expand its V-series lineup in India with the launch of the Vivo V60 5G. After the strong response to the V50 5G series, the company is now ready to introduce the next generation. As per a report by SmartPrix, the Vivo V60 5G could launch in India on August 12, 2025, although some earlier leaks had suggested an August 19 release. Vivo is yet to confirm the official launch date.
The smartphone is expected to be a rebranded version of the Vivo S30, which was launched earlier in China. Renders suggest the V60 5G will come in Mist Grey, Moonlit Blue, and Auspicious Gold colour options. The rear panel may feature a glossy texture with a redesigned triple-camera module. Unlike the V50 series, the upcoming model could shift to a flat display design.
On the hardware front, the V60 5G is likely to feature a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and up to 1300 nits of HBM brightness. Camera upgrades are expected, with a triple-lens setup on the rear that may include a 50MP main sensor, an 8MP ultrawide lens, and a 50MP periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom. A 50MP front-facing camera is also likely. ZEISS branding is expected to be retained for the optics.
The smartphone is said to be powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor and backed by a massive 6500mAh battery with support for 90W fast charging. These features suggest Vivo is targeting users looking for strong battery life and imaging performance in the mid-premium range.
As for pricing, the Vivo V60 5G is rumoured to be priced between Rs 37,000 and Rs 40,000 in India. Official details on pricing and storage variants are still awaited.
