The smartphone market is gearing up for a busy month in June 2024, with several major brands set to launch new devices. Vivo, Xiaomi, Motorola, Oppo, OnePlus, and other brands have confirmed or are anticipated to launch new phones, including foldables, mid-range, and budget models.

Vivo to introduce its first foldable phone in India

Leading the lineup is Vivo, set to introduce its first foldable phone, the X Fold 3 Pro, in India on June 6. This premium device, already available in China, boasts an 8-inch inner display, a 6.5-inch outer screen, a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, triple cameras, and a 5700mAh battery with fast charging capabilities. While the exact pricing remains a mystery, it is expected to be around Rs 1 lakh.

Xiaomi's 14 Civi to arrive in India

Xiaomi is set to bring the mid-range 14 Civi, a rebadged version of the China-exclusive Civi 4 Pro, to India on June 12. Key specifications include a 6.55-inch 120Hz OLED display, Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor, up to 16GB RAM, 50MP triple rear cameras, 32MP dual selfie cameras, and a 4700mAh battery with 67W charging. The 14 Civi is tipped to be priced under Rs 40,000.

OnePlus Nord 4 and CE 4 Lite rumoured for June release

OnePlus is rumoured to be preparing two Nord devices for an India launch in June - the Nord 4 5G and the more affordable Nord CE 4 Lite. The Nord 4 is expected to be a rebranded OnePlus Ace 3V with features like a 6.7-inch 120Hz AMOLED display, Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3, 50MP main camera, and 5500mAh battery with 100W charging. Details on the Nord CE 4 Lite are scarce, but it may include a 6.6-inch AMOLED display, a 5500mAh battery, and a 50MP camera.

Oppo and Realme speculated to come with mid-rangers

Oppo and Realme are anticipated to unveil new mid-range devices in June, with the likely models being the Oppo F27 Pro and Realme GT 6, respectively. The F27 Pro may come with typical specs such as an AMOLED display, 108MP cameras, and fast charging. Details on the GT 6 are currently limited.

Budget phones from Poco and Redmi

Xiaomi's sub-brands Poco and Redmi will likely refresh their budget phone lineups in June. The top contenders are the Poco M6 Plus 5G and the Redmi 13 series. These devices are expected to feature competitive specifications such as high-refresh-rate AMOLED displays, 50MP cameras, and 5000mAh batteries, all priced aggressively under Rs 20,000.

Moto's next foldable Razr could debut globally

Motorola is expected to unveil the latest iterations of its Razr foldables globally, the Razr 50 and Razr 50 Ultra, this month. Expected upgrades include a 6.9-inch 165Hz inner and 4-inch outer screen, Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chip, 50MP dual cameras, and a 4000-4200mAh battery for the Ultra model. The vanilla Razr 50 is tipped to start at $700, though there's no word on an India launch yet.
