Mobile phones launching in August 2025: Google Pixel 10, Oppo K13 Turbo, Vivo V60 and more

August 2025 will see several new smartphones across categories, including the Google Pixel 10 lineup, Vivo V60 and T4R, OPPO K13 series, and Lava Agni 4. From foldables to high-end midrange devices, the upcoming month promises plenty of options for buyers.

After a packed July that saw launches from Samsung, Nothing, OnePlus, and others, August 2025 is set to continue the streak with a fresh lineup of smartphones across segments. Key brands including Google, Motorola, Vivo, OPPO, and Lava are preparing to roll out new models in India, ranging from premium flagships to budget offerings. Here’s a look at what’s expected this month.

Google Pixel 10 Series Launch on August 20

Google is set to launch the Pixel 10 series in India on August 20. The lineup will include four models: Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL, and Pixel 10 Pro Fold. All devices will run on the new Tensor G5 chipset and are expected to come with Android 16 out of the box.

The base Pixel 10 is tipped to feature a 6.3-inch OLED screen, 12GB RAM, and a triple camera setup comprising a 50MP main sensor, 12MP ultrawide lens, and a 10.8MP periscope camera with 5x optical zoom. It will house a 4,970mAh battery.

The Pro models will step up with 16GB RAM and enhanced camera hardware, including a 50MP primary sensor, a 48MP telephoto lens, and a 48MP ultrawide camera. The Pro XL will offer a larger display, while the Pro Fold will include an additional 6.4-inch outer screen, IP68 rating, and support for both wired and wireless charging.

Prices are expected to start at Rs. 79,999 for the base variant and go up to Rs. 1,79,999 for the foldable model.

Vivo V60 and Vivo T4R India Launch

Vivo will launch the V60 in India on August 12. It’s expected to be a rebranded version of the Vivo S30, featuring a 6.67-inch AMOLED display, Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset, and a 6,500mAh battery with 90W fast charging. Camera setup includes a 50MP main lens, 8MP ultrawide, and a 50MP 3X periscope telephoto. Price is expected to range between Rs. 37,000 and Rs. 40,000.

Vivo T4R, on the other hand, is set to launch on July 31 with open sales starting in August. It will offer a quad-curved AMOLED screen, Dimensity 7400 chipset, dual cameras, and IP68/IP69 certification. Expected pricing: Rs. 15,000 to Rs. 20,000.

OPPO K13 Turbo and K13 Turbo Pro Incoming

OPPO is gearing up to launch the K13 Turbo and K13 Turbo Pro in India in early August. The K13 Turbo will run on the Dimensity 8450 chipset, while the Pro variant upgrades to the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4. Both phones will offer up to 16GB RAM, 1TB storage, and a 50MP main camera.

They will feature a flat OLED screen with 120Hz refresh rate, a 16MP selfie camera, and a massive 7,000mAh battery with 80W fast charging. Some variants are also expected to include an internal cooling fan. Pricing is likely to start between Rs. 25,000 and Rs. 30,000.

Lava Agni 4 Flagship to Launch Mid-August

Lava is set to unveil its Agni 4 smartphone around mid-August. The phone is rumoured to feature a 6.78-inch 120Hz display, MediaTek Dimensity 8350 chipset, and a 7,000mAh battery. It may adopt a flat-edge design and dual camera setup, moving away from the mini AMOLED screen seen on its predecessor. The expected price is around Rs. 25,000.
