Tecno has announced the launch of its new smartphone, the POP 9, aimed at Gen Z and Gen Alpha users. The device is designed to deliver a balance of entertainment, performance, and durability at an affordable price.
Features
The Tecno POP 9 features a 6.67-inch HD+ punch-hole display with a 90Hz refresh rate, enhancing video viewing and scrolling experiences. It is powered by India’s first MediaTek G50 processor, paired with 6GB RAM and 64GB internal storage, expandable up to 1TB.
For audio, the smartphone includes dual stereo speakers with DTS sound. Its IP54 rating provides dust and splash resistance, and the device is designed for lag-free performance over three years under standard conditions.
Price and availability
The Tecno POP 9 is priced at INR 6,499 with bank offers and will be available for purchase on Amazon starting November 26, 2024. The smartphone will be available in two colours, Startrail Black and Glittery White, with an additional skin included in the box for customisation. Tecno aims to cater to young users seeking a budget-friendly device with reliable performance and features for entertainment and multitasking.
