Samsung has just launched its new Galaxy S26 series smartphones with Galaxy S26 Ultra supporting up to 60W fast charging. To support that and other smartphones Samsung has announced the availability of its 60W Power Adapter in India. The company says the new charger is designed to deliver faster charging across smartphones, laptops and audio devices while reducing energy waste and physical clutter.
Built using Gallium Nitride (GaN) technology, the adapter replaces conventional silicon components to improve power efficiency within a compact form factor. Samsung says the design enables the charger to run cooler and reduce energy loss during operation.
Features
The 60W Power Adapter supports USB Power Delivery 3.1 along with Programmable Power Supply (PPS). PPS enables real-time adjustment of voltage and current based on the connected device’s requirements. This allows devices to draw only the power they need, helping optimise charging speed and battery health.
According to Samsung, the charger can power the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra up to 75% in 30 minutes. The adapter delivers 0.005W standby power consumption when plugged in but not actively charging, aimed at reducing electricity waste.
Samsung also states that the charger has been certified by Underwriters Laboratories (UL) for incorporating 20% recycled material in its construction.
The company says a single 60W adapter can replace multiple chargers for compatible devices, including smartphones, laptops and earbuds, helping reduce cable clutter.
Price and availability
The Samsung 60W Power Adapter is priced at Rs 3,499. It is available through Samsung.com, Flipkart, Amazon and select retail stores across India.
With GaN-based efficiency, PPS-enabled charging and reduced standby consumption, the new adapter expands Samsung’s accessory portfolio focused on power delivery and device compatibility.
