Ann has filed a lawsuit against Sam, claiming that he repeatedly assaulted her between the years 1997 and 2006. She alleged that the assaults took place at their family home in Clayton, Missouri. Ann Altman alleged sexual abuse at the age of 3

Ann has alleged in the lawsuit that she was only three years old when the abuse started and continued until she was 11. Altman, at that time, was only 12 years old. In the lawsuit, Ann has claimed that the abuse took place “several times per week,” it began with oral sex and later involved penetration. This isn't the first time Altman’s sister has spoken against her brother. She had made accusations against Altman on social media platforms X but this is the first time she has filed a complaint against him. The lawsuit has demanded a jury trial and claimed damages of more than $75,000.

Sam Altman’s reaction to the accusations

Sam Altman has denied the allegations levelled against him by his sister. In a joint statement issued on X, Altman along with his mother and brothers Jack and Max, have called her claims “untrue”. They have also claimed that Ann has also claimed “instances of sexual abuse by others.”

"The worst allegation she has made is that she was sexually abused by Sam as a child (she has also claimed instances of sexual abuse from others). Her claims have evolved drastically over time. Newly for this lawsuit, they now include allegations of incidents where Sam was over 18," the statement reads.
They also alleged that Ann continues to demand more money from them despite the fact that they have been taking care of her well being and supporting her financially.

“Despite this, Annie continues to demand more money from us. In this vein, Annie has made deeply hurtful and entirely untrue claims about our family, especially Sam. We've chosen not to respond publicly, out of respect for her privacy and our own. However, she has now taken legal action against Sam, and we feel we have no choice but to address this," the statement further reads.
