Last month, Xiaomi introduced the Redmi Note 14 series in China. The series includes the Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G smartphone, which is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Ultra SoC. However, by the looks of it, Xiaomi is planning to work on a 4G version of the Redmi Note 14 Pro, which has now been spotted on various certification websites.
Last week, the upcoming smartphone was spotted on the IMEI database with the model number 24116RACCG. Now, the device has also made its appearance on the FCC certification listing with the same model number and some key specifications are also being revealed. The G in the model number reveals that it would be a global model and hence is expected to launch in India as well.
Further, the FCC listing confirms that the Redmi Note 14 Pro 4G will have a 6.67-inch Full HD+ pOLED display with 1080 X 2400 pixels resolution. The screen will have up to 120Hz refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling support. The battery capacity is getting a boost to 5,500mAh, surpassing the 5,000mAh battery of its predecessor, the Redmi 13 Pro 4G.
The images on the FCC certification website also reveal that the upcoming Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G will come in multiple RAM and storage options, which include 8GB + 128GB, 8GB + 256GB, 12GB+256GB, and 12GB + 512GB RAM and storage options. Moreover, it appears to have dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and 4G LTE connectivity.
The Redmi Note 14 Pro 4G, codenamed ‘Obsidian,’ will reportedly be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity chipset. We can expect more information about the smartphone in the coming weeks.
