While the spotlight may be on the much-anticipated OnePlus Nord 5, the OnePlus Nord CE 5 is also promising to be an interesting midrange smartphone, particularly for users requiring excellent performance and battery life. The upcoming OnePlus Nord CE5 was previously spotted in the BIS certification database, and a recent Smartprix report revealed its expected design and key specifications. On the front, it is rumoured to feature a 6.77-inch flat OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Much like its predecessor, the Nord CE 5 will likely retain a vertical rear camera module, with newer colour options.

Under the hood, the device is likely to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Ultimate chipset, with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. In terms of optics, the Nord CE 5 is tipped to feature a dual rear camera system, led by a 50MP primary sensor alongside an 8MP ultra-wide lens. At the front, we can expect a 16MP camera to handle selfies and video calls. However, the biggest highlight of the smartphone could be the inclusion of a 7,100 mAh battery with 80W fast charging support.

Like the Nord CE 4, the OnePlus Nord CE 5 is expected to have a starting price of Rs 24,999 for the base model with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. Moreover, the higher 256GB variant could be priced at Rs 26,999. This means that it will likely compete with devices like the Motorola Edge 60 Fusion and the Infinix GT 30 Pro.
