UK-based smartphone brand Nothing is scheduled to launch its next-generation mid-range devices next month. The purported Phone 3a series is expected to include the Nothing Phone 3a and the Nothing Phone 3a Pro, and ahead of their launch, the brand has shared a teaser of one of the purported phones, which hints towards the inclusion of a new button.
Nothing Phone 3a could come with a camera shutter buttonNothing has shared a new teaser on social media platform X, which provides a glimpse of a phone’s side profile with an X-ray-like image. However, what’s interesting is that the power button accompanies a new button on the side, which is widely speculated to be used as the camera shutter button.
Similar to the camera control on the iPhone 16 series, this new button on the upcoming Nothing Phone 3a should be able to click pictures and record videos. Moreover, if Nothing follows the same path as other companies, then a single press of the button may activate the camera while pressing it again could snap a photo. Nothing has not officially confirmed whether this is indeed a camera button, but the tagline: 'Your second memory, one click away,’ hints at this possible camera functionality.
Nothing Phone 3a: Expected specificationsMany reports have confirmed that the Nothing Phone 3a would be powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 processor. Further, the phone could come with a 6.7-inch 120Hz AMOLED display and is likely to feature an in-display optical fingerprint sensor as the previous generation. Reportedly, the upcoming 'a' series models could feature a telephoto lens.
