
Motorola is gearing up to introduce its second Edge 70 series smartphone, named the Motorola Edge 70 Fusion. The handset has now appeared on an e-commerce platform, confirming its name and colour options. The phone’s design and key specifications have already been revealed, including the processor and memory configuration. Although Motorola has not announced its official India launch date, these teasers and recent reports suggest that its launch is imminent.
Motorola Edge 70 Fusion: Expected specifications, colour options
A new teaser on the Flipkart app indicates that the Motorola Edge 70 Fusion could be launched soon in India. The microsite also reveals that more details about the handset will be revealed on February 23. The listing also hints at the smartphone’s design and confirms that it will sport a large battery. The teaser images also show leather-inspired finishes in Pantone curated colour options such as Blue Surf, Country Air, and Silhouette.
Further, the listing in one of the pages has a line, “a lens that captures what others miss,” suggesting the capabilities of the 50MP Sony camera. The phone is also likely to come with IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance. A report by YTechB has also shared purported marketing images of the Motorola Edge 70 Fusion, which confirms that the phone will be powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset.
A previous X post by prominent tipster Evan Blass (evleaks) had revealed that the upcoming Motorola Edge 70 Fusion will likely feature a 6.78-inch quad curved OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. In terms of optics, it will likely feature a 32MP front camera, with the primary camera on the rear using a 50MP LYTIA sensor. Further, the phone may pack a 7,000mAh battery with support for 68W fast charging.
