The Motorola Razr Fold has been announced at the ongoing Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2026, and it is the first-ever book-style foldable smartphone from the Lenovo-owned smartphone brand. It is slated to take on competitors such as the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold, while aiming to balance a normal smartphone experience with the productivity capabilities of a larger tablet-style display.
Motorola Razr Fold: Specifications, features
The Motorola Razr Fold comes with an 8.1-inch LTPO inner display with a 2K resolution and a 6.6-inch external screen. For optics, the foldable has a triple rear camera system, comprising a 50MP Sony LYTIA main sensor, a 50MP periscope telephoto shooter with 3x optical zoom, and a 50MP ultra-wide-shooter. It also has a 32MP selfie camera on the cover screen and a 20MP camera on the main foldable display, with a centred hole-punch cutout on the outer screen, while the selfie camera on the inner screen aligns to one of the corners.
The Razr Fold also features multiple on-device AI features. This includes Catch Me Up, which provides summaries of the messages and calls, and the Next Move, which shows personalised recommendations based on the content on the user's screen. The Razr Fold supports the Moto Pen Ultra for stylus input. It will come in Pantone Blackened Blue and Pantone Lily White colour shades.
However, Motorola has not revealed the foldable’s battery, chipset, pricing and availability details yet. The company has assured that pricing, availability regions, and full specifications will be announced later this year. The Lenovo-owned brand also showcased an AI-native wearable companion concept, a special Motorola Razr FIFA World Cup 26 Edition smartphone, and Motorola Qira, a unified AI platform developed with Lenovo to deliver a cross-device experience across smartphones and PCs.
