Indiana Jones and the Great Circle gets a new update

The Indiana Jones and the Great Circle ‘MachineGames Anniversary Update’ is here. Bethesda Softworks and MachineGames released the new game update recently to celebrate developer MachineGames’ 15th anniversary.

The update adds the New Game+ mode, the Cairo Outfit for Indy and a voice-over language selector to the game. The supported languages are English, Arabic, German, Spanish, Latin American Spanish, French, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Brazilian Portuguese, Russian, Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese.

New Game+ mode
The New Game+ mode is coming to Indiana Jones and the Great Circle. Complete the main story of the game to unlock it.

“Once you’ve completed the main story, New Game+ will be available right from the main menu. Select a Game Slot containing a completed playthrough of the story and you’ll be taken to the New Game+ set up menu,” the developers said in a website post.

You can jump back into the game “with all your collected and unlocked Adventure Books, plus any unspent Adventure Points, local currency, and Medicine Bottles from your previous playthrough.”

Completing the story in New Game+ mode will unlock a brand-new ending sequence for Indiana Jones and the Great Circle after the credits.

The Cairo Outfit
The Indiana Jones and the Great Circle Anniversary Update unlocks a free new Indy outfit for all players that’s inspired by his Cairo look in “Raiders of the Lost Ark.” To access the Cairo Outfit, just visit the Outfit tab in the Options menu. More outfits will be added in the coming months.

“This outfit can be worn by Indy whenever he isn’t wearing a disguise, unless the level requires a special outfit, such as in Marshall College or Nepal,” said the developers.

Voice Language Select
The Anniversary Update also adds the Voice Language Select feature. Players can now mix and match any of the nine available voice languages with any of the fourteen text languages.

“To change the language settings, go to the Audio tab in the Options menu and scroll down to Language settings. There you can choose your preferred languages for Text and VO. After choosing the new settings, additional files may need to be downloaded in the background. A message will pop up telling you when the files have been downloaded. Your changes will take effect after starting a new level or if you restart from a checkpoint,” noted the developers.

In the Steam version of Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, the player needs to select the VO language in the game properties in the Steam client, since only the Text language option is set in-game.
