American tech giant HP has launched the OMEN MAX 16 gaming laptop with AI enhancements in India. As per HP, OMEN MAX 16 features HP’s most powerful gaming laptop design with up to 250W TPP, ensuring peak performance.

The HP OMEN MAX 16 gaming laptop is available now on the HP online store and Amazon at a starting price of Rs 3,09,999 in Shadow Black colour.

The OMEN MAX 16 gaming laptop comes powered by Intel’s 24-core Core Ultra 9 processor and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 GPU. It features a 16-inch 2560×1600 IPS panel with a 240Hz refresh rate, 500 nits peak brightness, and full sRGB coverage. It also supports a variable refresh rate (VRR) to minimise screen tearing during gameplay. The gaming laptop comes with 32GB of DDR5 RAM (5600MT/s) and a 1TB PCIe 5.0 SSD.

The OMEN MAX 16 laptop features OMEN Cryo Compound, which blends liquid metal and thermal grease for superior heat dissipation, claims HP. The OMEN Tempest Cooling Pro architecture ensures optimal airflow, while Fan Cleaner Technology reverses fan direction to prevent dust accumulation, said the company.

OMEN Gaming Hub

The OMEN MAX 16 gaming laptop offers personalisation through the OMEN Gaming Hub, enabling gamers to fine-tune system settings, power modes, and cooling preferences for a tailored experience. With customisable per-key RGB lighting and an optional RGB light bar, both fully adjustable via OMEN Light Studio, players can synchronise their device's aesthetics with their unique gaming style, said HP. Additionally, for security, the OMEN MAX 16 laptop has a Full HD IR camera for Windows Hello login, along with a physical privacy shutter.
