First Copilot+ PCs from Dell, HP, Asus, Samsung, Acer, and Lenovo powered by Snapdragon X processors announced

Various PC manufacturers have announced 14 new Copilot+ AI-driven laptops with Snapdragon X processors.

On the eve of Microsoft Build 2024, top PC manufacturers have released a new wave of Windows laptops powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon X Elite and X Plus processors. Additionally, these laptops will be the first machines to run Microsoft’s Copilot+ and are designed to be AI-driven.

Snapdragon X Elite chipset was first announced last year, and it’s a new ARM-based chipset for Windows laptops. Qualcomm also announced the Snapdragon X Plus chipset alongside. These two processors have a heavy AI focus with powerful NPUs built in, but they’re also more powerful than the previous ARM chips we’ve seen on Windows laptops previously

According to Microsoft, Windows laptops powered by Snapdragon X Elite processors will be more powerful than the M3-powered MacBook Air. Here are all the Snapdragon X-powered laptops announced at Microsoft’s Build 2024 event on Monday.

Dell: Dell has introduced five new laptops with Snapdragon X processors. These include Dell XPS 13, Inspiron 14 Plus, Inspiron 14, Latitude 7455, and Latitude 5455. These PCs offer extended battery life and a unique AI experience with Microsoft Copilot+.

HP: HP has also introduced two new Windows Copilot+ laptops with Snapdragon+ Elite chipsets. The HP OmniBook X and EliteBook Ultra offer long battery life, real-time transcription, and up to three years of warranty.

Lenovo: Lenovo launched the Yoga Slim 7x and ThinkPad T14s Gen 6 with Snapdragon X Elite chipset providing top PC performance. These models feature Windows 11 with Copilot+ enhancements for offline AI work. The Yoga Slim 7x has a 14.5-inch touchscreen with 3K resolution and is ideal for creatives.

Asus: Asus has announced the new VivoBook S15, which is powered by the Snapdragon X Elite chipset. Additionally, it features 40+ NPU TOPS, a dual-fan cooling system, and up to 1 TB of storage. It also has an RGB backlit keyboard.

Samsung: Samsung has announced the Galaxy Book4 Edge series which is powered by the Snapdragon X Elite processor and comes in 14-inch and 16-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X displays.

Acer: Acer unveiled the Swift 14 AI Windows PC, featuring Snapdragon X series processors and Windows Copilot+. It comes with either the base 12-core Snapdragon X Elite chip or the 10-core X Plus chip is available with up to 32GB of memory and 1TB of M.2 SSD storage.
