Deadpool & Wolverine--the latest Marvel film--is out in the theatres, and brings back Hugh Jackman after a gap of 7 years to reprise his role as the Marvel Comics anti-hero Wolverine aka James Howlett ‘Logan’. To celebrate the launch of the new film, the mobile role-playing superhero game Marvel Future Fight has added Deadpool and Wolverine with new Deadpool & Wolverine movie-themed costumes.

With the latest v1020 update, Marvel Future Fight adds new outfits for Deadpool like Marvel Studios’ Deadpool & Wolverine and Handsomepool. Deadpool also gets tier upgrades like the Tier-4, plus a new Striker Skill.

The Marvel Future Fight update brings Wolverine his yellow-and-blue costume from the latest film. Also, the superhero role-playing game by Netmarble Games adds Marvel supervillain Cassandra Nova, one of the most powerful telepaths on Earth.

Netmarble Games also unlocked the 7-Day Check-In rewards from July 24 to August 2. All you have to do is log in to Marvel Future Fight to claim the rewards. A 28-day check-in event has also kicked off in Marvel Future Fight from July 27 wherein you can earn enhancements for your team by checking in to the Marvel mobile RPG every day.

Marvel Studios’ Deadpool & Wolverine could give more closure on the fate of the X-Men in the MCU, since the Deadpool & Wolverine trailers gave off a very strong vibe of the Old Man Logan comic book story arc that began with the standalone graphic novel of the same name by writer Mark Millar and artist Steve McNiven. Millar’s and McNiven’s 'Old Man Logan' is set in a dystopian Marvel reality, where supervillains rule the world. The standalone graphic novel was later expanded into a full series consisting of 12 more books.

Noted comic book writer Brian Michael Bendis (House of M, Secret Invasion) wrote book 0, after which Jeff Lemire (Essex County, Black Hammer, Sweet Tooth) took over for the next four volumes in the expanded Old Man Logan story arc. Ed Brisson (Iron Fist, Batman Incorporated) was the final writer of the Old Man Logan series, writing the next 7 books (counting the two volumes of Dead Man Logan).
