BenQ has launched the PD2770U, a 27-inch 4K professional monitor featuring a built-in color calibrator, at Broadcast India 2025. The company selected India as the first global market for this product, underlining its focus on the country’s growing creative and post-production industries. The monitor is designed for professional environments such as broadcast studios, post-production houses, and independent creator setups, enabling precise color control without the need for external tools.
Features
The PD2770U introduces BenQ’s Built-in Calibration System, which includes Light-Adaptive Calibration technology that automatically adjusts color accuracy according to studio lighting conditions. The monitor supports 99% Adobe RGB, 99% DCI-P3, and 100% Rec.709 color gamuts to deliver accurate visuals across media formats.
Certified by Pantone Validated, Pantone SkinTone, and Calman Verified, the PD2770U ensures visual consistency across print, web, and video outputs. BenQ has also included centralized management features through an RJ45 LAN port and DMS Local software, allowing studios to synchronize calibration across multiple displays.
The display features a Nano Matte Panel that reduces glare and reflections, supported by a magnetic shading hood for precise visual assessment. Workflow efficiency is enhanced with BenQ’s Display Pilot 2 software, which includes tools like ICCsync, desktop partitioning, and one-click color mode switching. The Hotkey Puck G3 controller offers physical shortcuts for key display settings.
Availability
The BenQ PD2770U will be available starting November through leading broadcast and photography retail outlets and the official BenQ India website.
BenQ’s introduction of built-in calibration in the PD2770U marks a step toward making professional-grade color management more accessible. By eliminating the need for external calibrators and offering centralized control, the monitor targets creative professionals seeking accuracy, uniformity, and efficiency across their production workflows
