Ayodhya: The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir has announced revised darshan timings for Ram Lalla starting Thursday, adjusting the schedule to accommodate the winter season. Devotees can now visit the temple until 8.30 pm, half an hour earlier than the previous closing time of 9 pm. The update also shifts the Shayan Aarti from 10 pm to 9.30 pm.
According to trustee Anil Mishra of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra, the change is intended to streamline the aarti schedule and ensure smooth management during the colder months. General devotees can now enter the temple premises via Janmabhoomi Path until 8.30 pm.
Morning Schedule
The Mangala Aarti will now start at 4.30 am instead of 4 am, followed by the Shringar Aarti at 6.30 am, moved from its earlier timing of 6 am. Despite these adjustments, morning darshan for devotees remains open from 7 am as before.
The Rajbhog Aarti is scheduled at 12 pm, and the temple doors will temporarily close from 12.30 pm to 1 pm, reopening afterward for continued darshan.
Telecast Changes for Devotees at Home
The live broadcast of the Shringar Aarti on Doordarshan has also been revised. Previously aired at 6 am, the live telecast will now begin at 6.20 am, following a new schedule set under the agreement between Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra and Prasar Bharati.
These adjustments aim to maintain the sanctity and convenience of Ram Lalla darshan, ensuring devotees can participate in the rituals comfortably during the winter season.
