PM Modi will distribute more than 51,000 appointment letters to newly inducted recruits on October 28 via video conference in an event called Rozgar Mela. The event will be held at 37 locations across the country for recruitments across Central and State Goverments/UT. The new recruits will join in various departments such as Ministry of Railways, Department of Posts, Ministry of Home Affairs, Department of Revenue, Department of Higher Education, Department of School Education and Literacy and Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, among others. This is a step towards PM’s commitment to accord highest priority to employment generation. The new joinees will also get an opportunity to train themselves through Karmayogi Prarambh, an online module on iGOT Karmayogi portal, where more than 750 e-learning courses have been made available for ‘anywhere any device’ learning format. PM Modi will also address the new recruits on the day.
