Shell moving intl staff out of Egypt

Oil company Royal Dutch Shell plans to evacuate its international staff and their families from Egypt on Sunday, a source close to company told Reuters.

Oil company Royal Dutch Shell plans to evacuate its international staff and their families from Egypt on Sunday, a source close to company told Reuters.


"Around 60 families will leave as a safety measure. They are awaiting final approval from Egyptian travel authorities," the source said.

A Shell spokesman said: "We are carefully monitoring the situation in Egypt and are preparing for several situations".
