Mukesh Ambani gets emotional during his youngest son and groom-to-be Anant Ambani's speech during the pre-wedding festivities in Jamnagar.

Mukesh Ambani appeared visibly emotional and was in tears when his youngest son and groom-to-be, Anant Ambani, thanked him and Nita Ambani for supporting him and encouraging him while he struggled with health problems since childhood.

In a heartfelt speech during the festivities organised ahead of his wedding with Radhika Merchant, Anant Ambani said, "My father and mother have always stood by me, and they have made me feel that if I think (about doing something), I'll do it." As a teary-eyed Mukesh Ambani clapped enthusiastically, he added, "That is how much my father and mother mean to me and I will be eternally grateful."

The youngest heir to Mukesh Ambani’s Reliance behemoth has been battling obesity issues since childhood and his mother had spoken about it in an interview saying that he suffers from asthma which makes his weight-loss journey difficult.

In his speech, Anant Ambani also thanked Nita Ambani for working tirelessly to organise the festivities in Gujarat's Jamnagar ahead of his wedding with Radhika Merchant. He added that his mother has worked for about 19 hours a day for four months to prepare for the wedding.

"Thank you, Mumma, for all that you've done," Anant Ambani said in a speech addressing the guests. "All this is created by my Mumma and no one else. My mother has gone all out. For the last four months she has worked for, I think, 18-19 hours a day. I am extremely grateful to Mumma."
