WINE FOR MAIN COURSEA wholesome Indian meal consisting of different dishes is usually served together unlike the west, making it a continued challenge to pair the diverse Indian meal with one specific wine varietal. Here are 3 wine selections that will play a supporting role to the dishes on this plate and pair very well across all Indian cuisines. 1. You can’t go wrong pairing Indian food with a Sparkling wine. The bubbly from the York winery made from 100% Chenin Blanc grapes is good. With its effervescent bubbles, natural acidity, fruity aromas and the chilled temperature of the drink that just refreshes the palate and matches the various flavors present in our Indian food. 2. But white wines aren’t the only choices for Indian meals. Rosé has proved to be an all rounder wine to match with Indian food time and again. You could pair your Indian meal with a pretty pink Sula Rose’ Zinfandel, which is an easy drinking, versatile wine filled with abundant aromas of strawberry, honeysuckle and melon. 3.
