One of the aspirations for many engineering students in India, since the start of the 21st century, has been to move overseas to pursue higher studies and study in some of the best colleges abroad.

However, not all dreams of studying in reputed colleges come true and an Indian co-founder found a way to experience a day in an esteemed college in the United States when he attended a lecture at Stanford University free of cost.

Co-founder of Classplus Mukul Rustagi shared a video of how he sneaked into a class at Stanford University and attended a lecture free of cost. In an Instagram video, Rustagi wrote that he and his co-founder neither had the grades nor the money, when they were younger, to study at Stanford but wanted to know what made the university special.

"My co-founder and I snuck into a class at Stanford! Stanford was our dream, but we didn’t have the grades or the money to go. We were curious about what made Stanford special. So, we went to the campus and sneaked into a class," he wrote.

Rustagi further wrote they took a marker as a souvenir, before leaving the class.

"We politely asked the professor if we could sit in, and luckily, he said yes! It was a finance class, and we ended up learning about valuation of acquisitions and mergers. Before leaving, we asked the professor if we could keep a marker as a souvenir, and he agreed. We still have that marker in our bag to this day!" he wrote.
