India vs Pakistan
India set a new record in the rivalry by scoring 175/7, setting a target of 176 for Pakistan.
Ishan Kishan’s blazing 77 and Jasprit Bumrah’s sharp spell powered India to a 61-run win and a Super Eight spot, though social media felt the match was one-sided from the start.
Pakistan suffered an early blow with Hardik Pandya sending Sahibzada Farhan back for a duck in the first over. In the following over, Saim Ayub’s top-edged six was followed by Bumrah knocking him over with a clinical Yorker.
Pakistan captain Salman Aliu Agha struck a boundary but fell on the very next delivery, leaving his side reeling at 13/3.
