Huawei P Smart Z listed on Amazon, to come with 6.59-inch UltraView display, 16MP pop-up selfie camera

Huawei is soon launching a new mid-range smartphone called Huawei P Smart Z. It would be the third smartphone to be launched under the P Smart Series. Huawei launched the P Smart and P Smart+ earlier this year.

Before the launch has taken place, Amazon Italy has revealed the specifications and pricing details of the P Smart Z. The listing confirms a few specs that were revealed recently. The Huawei P Smart Z would come with a 6.59-inch UltraView HD+ display with an aspect ratio of 19:9. The screen would have a resolution of 1080*2340 pixels. Under the hood would be an in-house Kirin 710 Octa-core processor paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. The storage can be further expanded up to 256GB via microSD.

For optics, the P Smart Z would sport a dual-camera setup comprising of a primary 16MP sensor with an aperture of f/1.8. The secondary sensor is a 2MP depth sensor. At the front is a 16MP front camera with an aperture of f/2.2. The display does not have a notch, making way for a pop-up selfie camera which is a first by Huawei. In terms of battery, the P Smart Z would sport a massive 4,000 mAh battery. The listing does not mention any information on fast charging support. For biometric authentication, the smartphone offers a fingerprint scanner at the back along with face unlock. It boots on Android 9.0 based EMUI 9.0 out of the box.

The Amazon listing shows that the Huawei would launch the P Smart Z in three colours — Black, Blue and Green. It would be priced at EUR 279 (approximately Rs 21,500) as compared to earlier speculations of EUR 210. The listing does not reveal the date of availability of the P Smart Z.
