Elon Musk: Anyone who claims their political party does no wrong is 'either a liar, a fool or both'

Tech billionaire Elon Musk had earlier this month made headlines when he asserted that the chances of EVMs being hacked were high and therefore the machines should not be used in elections.

Elon Musk has called people who claim their political parties do no wrong to be either fools or liars or both. In a recent post on X, the tech billionaire and owner of the social media platform said that it is obvious that every political party does wrong.

"Anyone who claims that their political party does no wrong and the other party does no right is either a liar, a fool or both," he wrote. "Every political party does wrong. It's so obvious at this point."

Musk's comments come as the 2024 US Presidential election campaign intensifies with President Joe Biden and his opponent from the Republican Party Donald Trump preparing for the race.

The Tesla boss has been a vocal critic of Biden and has often written against him on X. Musk has previously said that the US President “obviously barely knows what’s going on" and that he is "just a tragic front for a far left political machine."

Scrap EVMs to prevent hacking threats, says Musk

The tech billionaire had earlier this month made headlines when he asserted that the chances of EVMs being hacked were high and therefore the machines should not be used in elections.

We should eliminate electronic voting machines. The risk of being hacked by humans or AI, while small, is still too high, Musk had said responding to a post by Robert F Kennedy Jr, an independent candidate for the upcoming elections in the US. The candidate had called for a return to paper ballots to ensure the integrity of elections after the recent voting irregularities in Puerto Rico’s primary elections.
