When entrepreneur and former Shark Tank India judge Ashneer Grover visited Bengaluru recently with wife Madhuri Jain, they were welcomed at The Oberoi hotel with unique gifts -- Chikmagalur coffee pralines and replica of Rs 2,000 notes and dollar bills with Grover's face on them instead of Mahatma Gandhi and Benjamin Franklin's.
Madhuri Jain shared a video of the "Ashneer Grover" notes on Instagram stories, thanking the hotel for the gesture.
The Instagram story shared by Madhuri Jain. While it's uncertain whether the couple has had a taste of Bengaluru's infamous traffic snarls, Ashneer Grover on Thursday took to reacting to a video shot in the city which showed several Ferraris stuck in a massive traffic congestion in what appears to be the Church Street area.
“More like Bengaluru takes down Ferrari! I feel the pain of having so many horses and being stuck in traffic,” he commented on the video.
The former Shark Tank India judge recently made headlines after commenting that the presence of 12 judges on the third season of the popular reality show made it look like they were carrying out an "audition" of the Sharks before finalising them for the next season. In each of the previous seasons, the show had about six judges on the panel.
"Shark Tank 3 is ‘audition’ of sharks for Shark Tank 4! Life mein ek lesson hai -- don’t change and make unnecessary problem of something which is already solved. Wish quantity solves for quality!" he wrote on X.
Grover was one of the judges on the first season of Shark Tank India and has gathered immense popularity during the show. He was, however, dropped after his fallout with his former company BharatPe -- the fintech firm that he had helped launch. But, his popularity among the show's fans continued through seasons with many still calling for him to be brought back into the panel.
