At a popular street cafe in Ahmedabad, a robot waiter called Aisha is serving desserts to delighted customers.
Kartik Maheshwari, a food blogger from Ahmedabad, took to Instagram to share a captivating video of Aisha in action at the Robotic Cafe, a pop-up truck by the road. The robot, with a price tag of approximately Rs 1.48 lakh, seamlessly navigates the cafe, serving dishes to customers, the video shows.
Maheshwari praised the innovation, captioning the clip, "Robot serving ice gola, first time in Ahmedabad. Starting from ₹40 & worth it. Hygienic & fully automatic."
Users in comments corrected the vlogger saying the dessert in the video is not an ice-gola and is in fact ‘Bingsu’ – a Korean shaved ice-cream made with milk.
“That's not ice gola. Ice gola is made from crushed ice. This is a Korean shaved ice cream,” one user wrote. “That’s not ice gola, it is Bingsu,” wrote another.
The video also shows a staff preparing bingsu with the help of an ice-machine. He adds the ingredients and pours it into the machine that produces shaved iced chocolate. The man then adds chocolate sauce and other toppings and the dessert is ready to be transported by Aisha the robot to waiting customers.
The ice-machine as well as the robot bore the company name and logo of "Penguin Innovative Engineering."
Another travel vlogger had recently shared an intriguing video showing a robot delivering food to his hotel room in Shanghai. The top part of the robot popped open when he pressed 'Open' on the machine to take his food stored inside and then closes it with another tap.
