Black Shark 3S unveiled with Snapdragon 865 SoC, 120Hz AMOLED display and 64 MP triple cameras

The Black Shark 3S recently joined the fray of 2020 gaming phones alongside the ROG Phone 3 and Lenovo Legion Phone Duel. The Black Shark 3S is the third smartphone in the series after the Black Shark 3 and Black Shark 3 Pro.

Black Shark 3S Price 

The Black Shark 3s is priced at CNY 4,000 (Approx. Rs 43,050) for the base 12GB/128GB variant; you can also get the 12GB/256GB model for CNY 4,300 (Approx. Rs 46,300). Additionally, a 16GB/512GB version will also be unveiled in the near future for CNY 4,800 (Approx. Rs 51,650). There is no information about international availability of the Black Shark 3S.

Black Shark 3S Specs 

Unlike Asus and Lenovo, Black Shark has stuck to the standard Snapdragon 865 SoC on its latest gaming phone. The chip is paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The Black Shark 3S packs a 4,729 mAh battery charges at 65 W over the USB-C. The device also has a second magnetic adapter that attaches to the back, which can deliver an 18W charge.

The Black Shark 3S sports a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 20:9 aspect ratio and 500 nits of brightness. The phone also features a 120Hz refresh rate and a 270Hz touch sampling rate. The latest Black Shark gaming phone boasts 105 percent DCI-P3 coverage and third-gen MEMC. The phone runs Android 10 with the latest JOYUI12 software on top.

In optics, the Black Shark 3S comes with a triple camera setup with a 64 MP primary sensor at the helm. The other two camera sensors include a 13 MP ultrawide snapper and a 5 MP depth sensor. On the front, the Black Shark 3S features a 20 MP selfie shooter, embedded in the top bezel.
