Amazon is introducing a new Generative AI tool that will help sellers create listings for their product and improve the management experience.
Amazon says that sellers will only, "need to provide a brief description of the product", and then the AI will take over, and generate a listing for them. Sellers will have the option to refine and edit these listings.

The Large Language Model (LLM) that Amazon uses has been trained on, "large amounts of data" which helps it, "recognize, summarize, translate, predict, and generate text and other content, to build more comprehensive product descriptions".
The company points out that their LLMs can use logical reasoning to infer the shape of an object based on the listed specifications.

“With our new generative AI models, we can infer, improve, and enrich product knowledge at an unprecedented scale and with dramatic improvement in quality, performance, and efficiency," wrote Robert Tekiela, vice president of Amazon's selection and catalog systems.
Amazon says it has already tested the feature with a number of sellers, and early feedback, "indicates that the majority of those sellers are directly using the listing content the AI model creates for them".
