Google Drive goes down for some users; issue fixed

If you faced issues accessing Google Drive sometime back, blame it on a disruption that plagued the service. As per Google's Apps Status Dashboard, a significant number of users faced issues accessing Google Drive following a service disruption. In an update provided at 3/18/13 8:40 PM (PDT), Google wrote, "We're aware of a problem with Google Drive affecting a significant subset of users. The affected users are unable to access Google Drive. We will provide an update by 3/18/13 9:40 PM detailing when we expect to resolve the problem.
