WhatsApp Web extension offers one the functionality and convenience of accessing your messages from your phone on your web or desktop, by syncing your account, ensuring that the messages you send and receive are visible on both devices, without the need to install the application on your computer. For this extension to be active, the phone needs to have an active internet connection at all times, otherwise, the connection and the syncing will be disrupted. Except for audio and video calling, all other WhatsApp features can be used on the web extension. There is also an option for turning on the dark theme in Whatsapp web, something which was earlier only available on smartphones. In order to launch WhatsApp web, all that one needs to do is scan the QR code from the phone on the web browser. WhatsApp will keep the user signed in until no action has been taken to manually log out. On WhatsApp web, the user will have an option of pulling out archived conversations, starting new chats, using emojis, searching out for old messages, accessing your profile amongst others. The extension is not compatible with all browsers except Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Opera, Microsoft Edge, and Safari. More
