The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams, which manages the Lord Venkateshwara temple, and the Chandrababu Naidu government have come in for severe criticism for alleged mismanagement in ticket distribution at the temple.
The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) is managed by Board and its head is appointed by the Andhra Pradesh government.
"We are discussing what to do next and how to go forward with respect to TTD. After deliberating with pontiffs, priests and Sanatana Dharma (Hinduism) experts, we will decide on how the samprokshana (ritualistic sanitisation) should be done," said Naidu in an official release.

Srinivasamurthy Dikshitulu, the former Pradhana Archaka of TTD, succumbed to the virus in the wee hours today, the official told PTI.

A V Dharma Reddy, Additional Executive Officer of TTD said that any devotee without a VIP recommendation letter can now avail of a VIP darshan ticket by contributing Rs 10,000 to the Trust.
The temple official said the over 2000-year-old Lord Venkateswara temple was growing richer by the year with an annual income of about Rs 31 billion with the devotee footfall of about 25 million from all over the world.
