Swan Telecom Promoter Shahid Balwa, facing trial along with former Telecom Minister A Raja and 15 others in the 2G spectrum allocation scam case, today told a special court that then Solicitor General (SG) GE Vahanvati had said that the firm was eligible for the licenses.
A special court today fixed December 1 for hearing the ongoing final arguments in a 2G scam-related money laundering case in which former Telecom Minister A Raja, DMK MP Kanimozhi and 17 others are facing trial.
The apex court clarified its position very clearly that in the past it has not allowed any relief by way of interim stays nor is it in any mood to do so as far as this particular case is concerned.
