All 2G accused should get bail: A Raja's lawyer

As the Supreme Court granted bail to all five corporate executives in the 2G spectrum scam, the other accused in the case are now also hopeful of getting bail.

As the Supreme Court granted bail to all five corporate executives in the 2G spectrum scam, the other accused in the case are now also hopeful of getting bail.


Former Telecom Minister A Raja's lawyer Sushil Kumar said, "This is a good order and gives an opening to other accused."


He said that if five persons in the case have got bail, the others accused in the case should also get bail.


DB Realty's Shahid Balwa's lawyer Vijay Aggarwal also said that he will move an advancement application for bail as his bail hearing was at a later date.


The Supreme Court granted bail to Unitech's Managing Director Sanjay Chandra, Swan Telecom's Director Vinod Goenka as well of Reliance ADAG officials Gautam Doshi, Hari Nair and Surendra Pipara on two sureties of RS 5 lakh each.
