Organised by the Ministry of Education, Pariksha Pe Charcha has been engaging students, parents and teachers for the past six years. The fourth edition was held online due to Covid-19 restrictions and this year's edition is being held at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi.
This year's Parikha Pe Charcha (PPC) will be held at the Bharat Mandapam on January 29, where Modi will interact with students, teachers, and parents from India and abroad.

While 22,000 registrations had come in, in the year 2018, the number has now grown, to stand at 38.8 lakh registrations this year.

"Pariksha Pe Charcha", where Prime Minster Narendra Modi talks to students on handling exams, is being organised for the last four years by the Education Ministry's Department of School Education and Literacy.
The first edition of the prime minister's interaction programme with school and college students ''Pariksha Pe Charcha 1.0'' was held at the Talkatora Stadium on February 16, 2018.

The prime minister has advised students on how to remain motivated, citing the example of the Indian Space Research Organisation’s recent Moon Mission
Assuring students of his complete focus, Modi said they could speak to him openly. "Speak to me hashtag without filter," he said.
Pariksha Pe Charcha 2020 is scheduled to begin at 11 am on January 20.
A total of 2,000 students and teachers will attend the event, of which 1,050 students have been selected through an essay competition.
