The Bombay High Court granted relief to Rhea Chakraborty, directing the NCB to permanently return her passport while easing a bail condition from the 2020 drugs case tied to Sushant Singh Rajput.
The NCB announced the arrest of Jaffer Sadiq, a Tamil Nadu-based suspected narcotics dealer, as part of an international drug trafficking probe. Sadiq, also a Tamil film producer, was recently expelled from the ruling DMK party.

An NCB official said that this was the most "superior quality of methamphetamine we have ever come across in the illegal drug market," as per the report.
The record seizure was made by the federal anti-narcotics agency in a joint operation with the Navy, it said.
The couple was arrested by the NCB in November 2020 following the seizure of ganja (cannabis) at their residence.
The action was taken based on specific information received by the Naval Intelligence unit at Jamnagar in Gujarat, said Sanjay Singh, Deputy Director General of the NCB in a press briefing here.

In a statement, the NCB said, "Based on an input, NCB Mumbai had on October 2, 2021 intercepted Vikrant, Ishmeet, Arbaaz, Aryan and Gomit at International Port Terminal, Mumbai Port Trust, and Nupur, Mohak and Munmum at the Cordelia Cruise. All the accused persons were found in possession of narcotics except Aryan and Mohak.”
