Tata Consultancy Services, the largest software services exporter in India, was trading higher since morning trade as the company said it added over USD 1 billion in its brand value.
“While fixed-costs and interest rate burden played havoc with Q1, the engineering segment is likely to pick up going forward,” says Shekhar Bajaj, chairman and managing director, Bajaj Electricals. According to the latest Brand Finance Global 500 report, 9 Indian brands are ranked in the Global 500 League list. Tata Group has been crowned as the first Indian brand to be in the top 50 global league with a brand value of USD 15.08 billion for this year versus USD 11.2 billion last year.
