    Pharma company Zydus Cadila announced on Wednesday that its coronavirus vaccine named ZyCoV-D was found to be safe in the first trial. The company will begin the phase II trials from August 6.

    Meanwhile, a report from Reuters pointed out that nearly 5,900 people are dying every 24 hours from COVID-19 on an average. This equates to 247 people per hour, or one person every 15 seconds.
