Denouncing the "misuse of democratic freedoms" by separatist elements, the Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said, “We have seen the footage of a breach of security during the visit of EAM to the UK… We deplore the misuse of democratic freedoms by such elements.”
He added that India expects the UK government to live up to their diplomatic obligations.
Jaishankar is on an official visit to the United Kingdom and Ireland from March 4 to 9 to further strengthen India’s diplomatic ties with both nations.
