Home Minister Amit Shah is set to release the Bharatiya Janata Party's manifesto for the upcoming Jharkhand Assembly elections and will address three rallies in the state on Sunday. Shah arrived in Ranchi on Saturday night ahead of these events.

The BJP has announced that Shah will unveil the "Sankalp Patra" in Ranchi, highlighting key commitments for the assembly elections. He is scheduled to speak at rallies in the Ghatshila, Barkatha, and Simaria assembly constituencies throughout the day. This manifesto release coincides with the 25th anniversary of Jharkhand's formation, and it will include a 150-point document commemorating the 150th birth anniversary of tribal leader Birsa Munda. Jharkhand was established on November 15, 2000, which is also Birsa Munda's birth anniversary.

Earlier in October, the BJP had shared five initial points of its manifesto, promising Rs 2,100 in monthly financial assistance to women, the creation of five lakh jobs for youth, and housing for all if they win the elections.

Jharkhand BJP president Babulal Marandi introduced the 'Panch Pran' (five vows) initiative, supported by Union ministers and Assam's Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma. The initiative includes provisions for households to purchase LPG cylinders at Rs 500, with two cylinders provided free each year. Additionally, the BJP aims to fill 2.87 lakh vacant government posts, starting the appointment process at the first cabinet meeting and committing to fill 1.5 lakh positions by November 2025.

Moreover, the party plans to offer financial support of Rs 2,000 to graduate and postgraduate students for up to two years to help them prepare for competitive exams. The 'Gogo-Didi' scheme is another key initiative aimed at empowering women, providing them with monthly assistance of Rs 2,100.

The elections for the 81-member Jharkhand Assembly will take place in two phases on November 13 and 20, with votes counted on November 23. Following Amit Shah's visit, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will hold rallies in Jharkhand on November 4, and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh is scheduled for a public meeting in Jamshedpur on November 5.
