A month after India’s stunning counter-strikes against Pakistan, new details have emerged revealing the deadly extent of Operation Sindoor.

A latest report by the Hindustan Times says that the Indian Air Force had fired as many as 19 BrahMos missiles targeting Pakistani airbases during the military offensive between May 7 and May 10. Apart from the BrahMos supersonic cruise missiles, India had also fired 19 French SCALP subsonic cruise missiles, the HT said, citing the action taken reports.

The HT report also added that the Rajnath Singh-led Defence Ministry has given the go-ahead to all three forces to restock ammunition with longer range. This means India will soon have loitering munitions with longer range, air-to-air missiles, and Kamikaze drones, among other weapons.

India now has conclusive reports based on digital proof that Pakistan lost four combat jets and two large aircraft during Operation Sindoor. The HT report also said that Pakistan resorted to firing PL-15 air-to-air missiles, which are Chinese versions. Pakistan also tried to target the Indian Air Force’s aerial attack by using two fire units of mixed range from Malir and Chaklala Cantonment. These military bases are near Karachi.

The report also said that digital trails indicate Pakistan used Turkey’s YIHA loitering munitions to target Indian airbases. However, most of these were either jammed or completely missed their targets.

The HT report further said that detailed analysis by military officials has concluded that the May 7 strikes on terror infrastructure in Pakistan were a complete success. The report said that India had fired Crystal Maze missiles that completely wiped out the Markaz-e-Taiba headquarters of Lashkar-e-Taiba.
