Bhosari Maharashtra Assembly Election 2024 Latest Updates: Maharashtra, which has seen frenzy of campaigning by all political parties, will choose it next Assembly in the state polls on Wednesday, November 20, 2024. Bhosari, which is one of the 288 constituencies, will see the polling on November 20. An Assembly constituency in Maharashtra, Bhosari has been designated as a General (GEN) seat by the Election Commission of India.
In the 2019 Assembly Elections, Mahesh (Dada) Kisan Landge of the BJP emerged victorious with a significant margin of 77,567 votes. He secured 159,295 votes, representing a vote share of 60.46%, defeating Lande Vilas Vithoba, an Independent candidate, who received 81,728 votes, accounting for 31.02% of the total votes.
Mahesh Landge, who contested and won the 2019 Assembly election on the BJP ticket, fought the polls in 2014 as an Independent. He had got 27.2 percent of vote share, the 2014 poll data shows.

In the Bhosari Assembly constituency, the upcoming contest is set to be a significant one between the sitting MLA, Mahesh Landge, who has established a stronghold in the area, and Ajit Gavhane, a former NCP corporator and city president, who is entering the electoral fray for the first time.
After being announced as the MVA candidate for the 2024 polls, Gavhane expressed confidence in his victory and that of other MVA candidates. "We have told our leaders that we will win this poll and ensure the success of all Maha Vikas Aghadi candidates. In Bhosari, as in the rest of Maharashtra, citizens are seeking change. The sitting MLA was given a chance for ten years but failed to deliver on expectations, leading to public dissatisfaction and anger against him and his party. We are confident of securing victory in this election," Gavhane stated.
